Post to Desktop

The Desktop feature is used to add your widget to containers such as the Vista Sidebar and Yahoo Widgets.

The Desktop support may be enabled using one of the Setup Wizards by checking the "Post to desktop" checkbox. As a result the "Desktop" tab appears, as demonstrated in the screen shot below:

Another option - is directly editing the XML string value assigned to the UIConfig or the localConfig parameters:

UIConfig: '<config><display showDesktop="true" ></display></config>'
